Ghost notes!!!
- Start with 1 and 3 on the bass drum
- Ghost notes should be around 1 inch from snare for best sound
- ^^^ Keep stick down after backbeat/accent
- Practice each one individually until it feels and sounds good then work on putting them together
Then – Take these hand patterns and apply them to the other bass drum patterns from “BEATS LVL 1”
These are all written with 8th notes on the hi hat but you can play each of these ghost note patterns with any of the right hand patterns from BEATS LVL 1 as well. Giving you literally hundreds of combinations!
Remember to always practice smart and go for quality over quantity.
Tempo Range: 60-130 BPM
